Lawyer Tries To Act Smart With a Cop, What Happened Next Is Brilliant!
The fictional local hero in the joke shared by the Federalist Papers quickly and hilariously handles the situation with the obviously Liberal attorney in a way all patriots can surely appreciate!
A lawyer runs a stop sign and gets pulled over by a sheriff’s deputy. He thinks he is smarter than the deputy because he is a lawyer form New York and is certain he has a better education than any cop from Texas.
He decides to prove himself and have some fun at the deputy’s expense. The deputy says, “License and registration, please.”
“What for?” says the lawyer. The deputy says, “You didn’t come to a complete stop at the stop sign.”
Then the lawyer says, “I slowed down and no one was coming.” The smugness starts to leak into his voice and he cracks a smile.“You still didn’t come to a complete stop,” says the deputy, with a sigh, he knows where this is going. “License and registration please.”
The lawyer says, “What’s the difference?” The Deputy replies, “The difference is you have to come to a complete stop, that’s the law. License and registration, please!”
The lawyer says, “If you can show me the legal difference between slow down and stop, I’ll give you my license and registration and you give me the ticket. If not, you let me go and don’t give me the ticket.”
The deputy considers that for a moment, and then says, “That sounds fair. Please exit your vehicle, sir.” At this point the deputy puts down his nightstick and starts incessantly pinching the lawyer in between the thighs (where it hurts the most) and says, “Do you want me to stop or just slow down?”Sometimes when liberals ignore common sense it can actually be funny, especially if you pull them down from their high horse a little bit!
