Terrified Puppy Thought No One Was Coming To Save Him From Busy Highway

When a man named Cenk spotted a tiny puppy alone on a busy highway, he knew the dog was in serious need of help.

Apparently, the dog was hit by a car, and the evil driver drove away, without even checking on the injured canine. The puppy laid down in the middle of the highway, basically waiting to die.

Viktor Larkhill, who operates an animal rescue posted the video of the injured and abandoned pup on YouTube, and it’s received upwards of 493,000 views.

Larkhill wrote, “This video was taken in the first minutes after Cenk spotted him in the highway. They reflect what rescue is all about, they show the conditions in which we work here, the risks we take at time but above all, they show the indifference of society towards an issue that shames all of us…”

The dog, whom they named Baby, was quickly taken to an animal clinic, and his x-rays showed that two of his legs were badly broken.

If rescuers didn’t get to Baby when they did, he probably wouldn’t have survived.

After receiving the medical care he so desperately needed, just three months later Baby is a completely different dog.

After Baby was fully recovered, he was adopted by a family in Germany, and ready to begin his new life there.
