PA Woman Gets $100,000 in Welfare For 3 Non-Existant Kids, But She Didn’t See THIS Coming

This Pennsylvania woman is an example of how the welfare system in America is inherently broken. She committed fraud by claiming welfare for her kids, who don’t exist
Sabrina Strothers, 23, told officials she had given birth to triplets on November 20, 2008, but there was one small problem with that. It was all a lie. Her “children,” Thomas, Tomalyia, and Tyreik Wilson, had never been born. Her cousin turned her in, and she is now facing charges of forgery and one count of fraud by deception, as per Breitbart.

Strothers collected benefits for these fake children until March after her cousin reported her to authorities in January 2016.

She even had a great backstory. She told investigators that the children lived with their father in Atlanta, and she would send the benefit card to him so he could provide for them. From an inspector’s perspective, it would make sense that the kids would live with the parent who was better off financially
That’s not even where the track covering ends! Strothers also had three social security numbers that she stole to use for the fictitious children. She took them from people who had been born in 1887, 1945, and 1960.

The depth of Strothers’s fraud was over $100,000, totaling $89,453 in medical assistance funds, $37,269 in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits, and $2,073 in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families grants — adding up to $128,795 of illegal benefits from Pennsylvania’s Department of Human Services.
Strothers is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in Allegheny County Court on December 22th. Needless to say, there definitely will not be a Merry Christmas for this woman.

Though justice has been served, I’m still angry: What about the children? No, not her children! She doesn’t have any!
I’m talking about the children who actually needed that money! I am also talking about citizens who were robbed of money by this woman Strothers in the form of taxes they paid to help her fictitious children. The taxpayers’ children deserved that money.

You see, this woman thinks it is just the government she defrauded, but that isn’t true. She defrauded the blue-collar, hardworking people of Pennsylvania. She defrauded people who love this country and made it great.
In this case alone, there are 128,795 reasons why the welfare system needs to be reformed. One can only hope Strothers gets some jail time, perhaps as a deterrent to others who might be tempted to defraud the system in the same way. Perhaps a letter-writing campaign is in order?
What do you think about this woman getting some degree of justice for defrauding the government and taxpayers? Please share this story on Facebook and tell us because we want to hear YOUR voice!
