Georgia student abducted, held at gunpoint, raped, ransomed for Atlanta Falcons tickets

A Georgia student was allegedly abducted, raped and then held for ransom in exchange for a pair of Atlanta Falcons tickets.

Jaylan Martez Wallace, 23, and Xavious Vaughn, 17, were arrested after the woman was kidnapped at gunpoint, taped up and sexually assaulted, police say.

According to court documents seen by AJC.com, the victim was held overnight and then taken to a library where she was given her ‘freedom’ once the tickets were handed over.

Wallace met the former Clark Atlanta University student in a campus parking lot on August 29. They both then met up again in a nearby neighborhood, the documents state.
After riding together to the Lithonia area of the city, Wallace allegedly kidnapped and carjacked the victim at gunpoint before raping her.

Prosecutors say that Wallace then forced the women to have sex with 17-year-old Lithonia resident Xavious Vaughn
But the ordeal didn’t end there. The woman was held hostage overnight and taken to a library where Falcons tickets were exchanged ‘for her freedom.’

The documents do not state who delivered the tickets.

The entire drama is thought to have taken place at the end of August, however Wallace and Vaughn were not arrested until this week.

It’s not clear how the suspects were identified or how their arrests came about.

It is also understood that the victim did not know her attackers.

A warrant was out for Wallace’s arrest for more than a month after he failed to come in and speak to police.

Wallace and Vaughn have now been charged with rape, armed robbery and kidnapping.

They remain in jail and are being held without bond.
The woman was only released when they were given a pair of tickets to the Atlanta Falcons during a handover in a library.
